Update 12-4-2013. Larry Patterson, aka Ag3nt47, has been released from Sacramento jail and is en route to Newark, New Jersey, to face not-yet-existing charges on a not-yet-existing indictment against him for allegedly hacking into computers, such as those at Rutgers U., Harvard U., MIT, NASA, and a list of other targets. The federal complaint is in the New Jersey Federal District and Patterson was arrested at his family's home in Tracy, California. (see the FBI Complaint below.)
Joseph A. Camp, a former federal prisoner, says that Ag3nt47's journey to New Jersey is likely to take 7 to 21 days. He says Mr. Patterson is likely to be moved first to Oklahoma City, where there is a prison right at the airport, called the Bureau of Prisons Transit Center. From there, he is likely to be housed for a few days at either OKC or in Grady County Jail. From there, he likely will be flown to Harrisburg, Pennsylvania, picked up by the US Marshals, and taken to Northeast Ohio Correctional Center (NEOCC) in Youngstown, Ohio. He will likely spend a few days in that center, then transported by the US Marshals by bus to New Jersey, where he will land at his permanent jail pending resolution of his case.
The items seized in the warrant search on the Patterson home are interesting in their paucity. Only 3 items were seized, as seen below in the crop made from the original warrant receipt: a Dell Inspiron 530S Desk top computer, a spindle of 42 optical disks and another 49 optical disks. Word is that the computer was a beat-up hand-me-down. If the nation's elite institutions can be invaded by one bored guy with a junky computer, this is food for thought on many topics.

The FBI complaint can be viewed below. The complaint is a first step in getting an indictment. While it is possible a sealed indictment exists, this seems unlikely since Mr. Patterson's computer was just seized and it usually takes the FBI months to do a forensic examination on a computer. It is questioned why Mr. Patterson was arrested so early in the process.
